YORK City defender Sam Sanders is set to leave the club on a short-term loan deal to Vanarama National League North side Boston United.
Sanders, who has made 20 appearances for York in the Vanarama National League this season, has been missing as of late with a calf injury.
But after a spell on the sidelines, Sanders has missed City's last ten matches and has been unavailable since the Minstermen's 4-1 victory over Maidstone United in January.
The centre-back has also added three goals to his tally this season, including a crucial equaliser against Dagenham & Redbridge back in mid-November.
Sanders joined York on a permanent deal at the end of his Nottingham Forest contract last July, after impressing during a loan spell at the LNER Community Stadium last campaign.
York and Boston are familiar in short-term loan deals, with Ryan Whitley also making the switch in recent months, despite never making an appearance for the Pilgrims after being recalled to help cover an injury to goalkeeper Ethan Ross.
