LAUREN WINFIELD-HILL has earned a call-up to the England Women’s squad for the T20 World Cup.

Stamford Bridge’s Winfield-Hill will be making her second World Cup appearance, having also played a part in England’s run to the semi-finals in 2020.

The opener featured in four of the five matches in England’s tour of the West Indies in December, which the visitors won 5-0.

Winfield-Hill will be hoping to improve on a disappointing tour that saw her manage just 46 runs across the series.

She also shares a record T20 stand of 147 with fellow opener Tammy Beaumont, the highest total ever by England in Women’s T20Is.

Fellow Northern Diamonds stars Katherine Brunt and Nat Sciver have also been included in the 15-woman team.
