YORK City defender Sam Sanders has named in the Vanarama National League team of the week after a man-of-the-match display in Saturday's 2-0 win at Woking.
Sanders' header put York in front after 59 minutes at the Laithwaite Community Stadium.
The centre back stood strong in defence, completing the full 90 minutes as City kept a clean sheet, despite losing defender Fraser Kerr to a red card after the hour mark.
A late strike from captain Lenell John-Lewis secured the three points for the Minstermen.
After toppling then-third-placed Woking, York moved up to 15th in the table, eight points clear of safety from relegation and five points adrift of the play-offs.
