YORK Knights will begin their 2023 Betfred Championship season at home to Widnes Vikings on Sunday, February 5 (3pm).

Widnes finished eighth in the Championship this year but have recruited the likes of Tom Gilmore, Jordan Johnstone and Kyle Amor in head coach John Kear's first off-season.

York first televised fixture of the year, on Viaplay Sports UK, comes at the LNER Community Stadium against Bradford Bulls on Monday, February 13 (7.45pm).

It has also been confirmed that the Knights will face Featherstone Rovers at the Community Stadium-held Summer Bash on Saturday, May 27.
