YORK City boss Colin Walker will not abide any "sulking" after the disappointment of Saturday's FA trophy semi-final defeat.

The Minstermen return to Blue Square Premier action tonight at Forest Green (7.45pm), three days after their Wembley dream ended in a 2-1 aggregate loss to Torquay.

City have now missed out on an opportunity to play at the home of English football twice in the last ten months but Walker is in no mood for self-pity. He said: "Tonight's game is probably one we need, just like we needed the Exeter match after losing the first leg to Torquay. We need to get the Trophy out of our system and need to win this fixture.

"We have 12 cup finals to play and we've got to try and win them all and see where that takes us. We lifted the tempo at training to get them going because we can't let the season peter out. We've got to work hard all the time and even harder than we were doing before."

David McGurk, Nicky Wroe, Manny Panther and Craig Farrell are all doubtful from the side that won Saturday's semi-final second leg 1-0, while Sam Duncum will miss tonight's game but is pencilled in to play in tomorrow night's North Riding Cup final against Middlesbrough at KitKat Crescent.

The Rotherham winger pulled out of Saturday's match with a muscle strain but, with his one-month loan stay due to expire this week, Walker is keen to run the rule over him before finalising an extension. "I've spoken to Rotherham but I don't want to re-sign him injured," Walker explained.

Leo Fortune-West and Simon Rusk, meanwhile, return to the squad for today's trip after being cup-tied against Torquay and will now have a run of 12 games to prove their worth to the club.

Walker said: "They have got to get in the team first, but we will be playing Saturday and Tuesday all the way through now so everybody is going to be needed, fit and ready to go. Leo and Simon have had a stop-start time, but might get some part of the games on Saturday and Tuesday."

Youth team striker Adam Boyes, 17, is not travelling to Gloucestershire after making his senior debut on Saturday.

Walker said: "We needed a second striker on the bench against Torquay, but we will have enough bodies today. It was exciting for him to get on the pitch and an opportunity to show how well our youth policy is doing. He will play in the cup final tomorrow.

"He might get another chance before the end of the season, but the season hasn't finished and we're not throwing the towel in."

City midfielder Ross Greenwood has extended his loan stay at Gainsborough until the end of the season.
