YORK City have reduced the capacity of Monday night's fans forum (7pm) and made the evening a ticketed event.

York confirmed on Wednesday that they will hold a fans forum at the LNER Community Stadium's LNER Lounge on Monday night, with chairman Glen Henderson, chief executive Alastair Smith and manager John Askey in attendance.

City initially stated that the event had a 300-person capacity with no tickets required.

However the Minstermen have now moved to cap the forum's capacity at 200, with obtaining a free ticket required for entry due to high demand.

The forum will give York supporters the first chance to put questions to the club's hierarchy, following last month's sale by divisive ex-chairman Jason McGill to Henderson (51 per cent stake) and the Supporters' Trust (49 per cent stake) after 16 years at the helm.

Questions are set to take place from 7pm to 9pm.
