YORK City have reached 2,000 season tickets sales for the 2022/23 season.

The latest milestone comes as York prepare to the return to the Vanarama National League after a five-season absence, having won promotion through the National League North play-offs last term.

The 2,000 ticket sales rank higher than City’s last season in League Two (2014/15), in which around 1,750 were sold.

The Minstermen kick off their new campaign in the fifth tier at the LNER Community Stadium against Woking on Saturday, August 6 (3pm).
