THE LNER Community Stadium is expected to host its first full house tomorrow evening when Leeds United host Blackpool (7pm).
Leeds begin their pre-season friendlies at the York City and York City Knights home ground and the 8,500-seater stadium is anticipated to sell out.
At the time of writing, tickets in the North, East and South Stands have all sold out, with only a handful of seats remaining in the wheelchair access areas of the West Stand.
Should a maximum crowd turn out, it would break the existing record set for York City's Vanarama National League North play-off final against Boston United, which they won 2-0 and drew 7,448 supporters.
Tonight's friendly between Leeds and Blackpool will see the Premier League outfit take to the field for the first time in front of supporters at the LNER Community Stadium.
The Whites previously took on Spanish giants Villarreal in August, drawing 2-2, at the Monks Cross ground, though it was played behind-closed-doors.
Leeds go on play Brisbane Roar (July 14, 10.45am), Aston Villa (July 17, 5.35am), Crystal Palace (July 22, 11.05am) and Cagliari (July 31, 6pm) in pre-season.
