LEEDS United will take on Blackpool at the LNER Community Stadium next week.

Leeds host Blackpool at the Monks Cross ground next Thursday (July 7, 7pm) as part of two domestic pre-season friendlies next month.

The Premier League's side Under-23s outfit have regularly used the LNER Community Stadium as a home venue although this will be the first time that United's first-team squad will have visited the new ground, which opened last year, in front of fans.

Tickets are now on general sale through the York Stadium Management Company.

Adult tickets are priced at £15, with concessions (16-21 year old and over-65s) and under-16s tickets priced at £10 and £5 respectively.

Leeds will take on a Blackpool side that finished 16th in the Sky Bet Championship last term in the club's first season back in the second tier after promotion from Sky Bet League One.

The latter of Leeds' Yorkshire-based warm-up matches will take place at Elland Road against Italian side Cagliari on Sunday, July 31 (6pm) at Elland Road.

In between the Blackpool and Cagliari fixtures, Leeds will travel to Australia as part of the inaugural Queensland Champions Cup.

Jesse Marsch's team will take on A-League's Brisbane Roar on Thursday, July 14 before facing Premier League rivals Aston Villa, on Sunday, July 17, and Crystal Palace, on Friday, July 22.
