YORK Knavesmire Harriers Ladies have been crowned Yorkshire fell champions.
Their coronation came at the conclusion of the Buckden Pike fell race which runs for 3.7 miles.
Rose Mather won an individual bronze medal as she placed ninth overall in the women’s race, finishing third out of those from Yorkshire.
The bronze medalist team was rounded out by Becky Penty, who finished 12th in spite of stumbling earlier in the race.
Nik Tarrega placed 24th while Ursula Moore, in reserve, finished in 42nd place.
