LONDON Broncos could be without both their first-choice back-rowers Will Lovell and Rhys Curran for Sunday's trip to York City Knights (3pm).

Lovell was stretchered off the field with a neck injury during London's 32-18 defeat to relegation-battling rivals Workington Town on Thursday.

While the Broncos later reported that x-rays had shown that the captain suffered no fracture of the neck or shoulder, it appears unlikely that he will play against York at the LNER Community Stadium.

London face an injury concern over fellow second-rower Curran, who also departed from the field early in Cumbria.

The pair of injury problems furthered compounded the capital club's struggling position.

After 13 league matches, London have won just once and sit only one point off the bottom of the Betfred Championship table.

The Broncos also remain without a permanent head coach, following Jermaine Coleman's departure last month, with interim boss Mike Eccles taking charge of the trip to York.
