YORK City sold out their away ticket allocation for this weekend’s play-off semi-final in just two minutes.

York were given 600 tickets for the pivotal clash at Brackley Town’s St James Park on Saturday (3pm).

City progressed to the final four of the Vanarama National League North play-offs through a 2-1 win over Chorley in front of a record crowd at the LNER Community Stadium on Wednesday night.

Yesterday morning, York supporters were offered the chance to buy 600 away tickets, which quickly sold out, at the 3,500-capacity ground.

The winner of the semi-final would progress to the final on Saturday, May 21, where they would face either AFC Fylde, Kidderminster Harriers or Boston United.

Kidderminster and Boston faced off last night, with the winner travelling to Fylde on Sunday (3pm).

Should York play either Fylde or Kidderminster, the match would be away from home while a final with Boston would be at the Community Stadium.
