YORK City Knights prop Pauli Pauli has been banned for two games.

The decision comes after Pauli was charged with Grade B dangerous contact from York’s 30-18 win over play-off rivals Barrow Raiders on Monday.

The ban means that the 27-year-old will miss the Knights’ upcoming Betfred Championship games against Bradford Bulls and Halifax Panthers.

He will be eligible to play once again for York’s clash with Sheffield Eagles on Thursday, June 2, at the Olympic Legacy Park.

Pauli has played for Newcastle Knights, Wakefield Trinity and Salford Red Devils in his career before he came to York.

He began his career in his home country of Australia with Parramatta Eels, debuting in 2014 before moving to England in 2015.

Since joining from Super League side Salford in the off-season, Pauli has played nine times for the Knights and is yet to score.
