YORK City Knights Ladies have rested three key players for this weekend’s Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup trip to Bradford Bulls.
York virtually progress to the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup with a dominant 46-0 victory over Wigan Warriors on Sunday.
The win over Wigan leaves York as the only Group ‘C’ club on four points with a points difference of +124.
As a result, director of rugby Lindsay Anfield has chosen to rest England international Tara Stanley, 2021 Player of the Season Sinead Peach and former Woman of Steel nominee Rhiannion Marshall.
In their place, Mel Halstead, Rhianna Aldridge and Olivia Gale have been named in the 19-woman squad which heads to Odsal on Sunday (2pm).
