DEBUTANT Tara Stanley bagged five tries as York City Knights Ladies thrashed Dewsbury Moor 78-0 in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup.
The Knights held a commanding 34-0 lead by half time thanks to seven unanswered tries, two of which came from loose forward Rhiannon Marshall.
York showed no signs of slowing down in the second half as Lindsay Anfield’s side racked up 44 more points.
After half time player-of-the-match Marshall completed her hat-trick while Stanley claimed five scores from the bench.
Next up, for the Ladies is a cup clash with Wigan Warriors at the LNER Community Stadium on Sunday (12pm).
