CITY of York Hockey Club Men I bounced back to form in style by winning 5-2 at Chesterfield I.

City of York Men IX lost 3-0 to cross-city rivals Acomb II in division one moor.

There were doubles for Ernest Wordsworth and Zack Fraser as they beat Ben Rhydding 9-1 in Yorkshire League Men's Development north division. Rohan Korolkiewicz, Rajveer Matharu, Grace Stewart, Izzy Gilmore and Arthur Good were also on target.

City of York Ladies I won 1-0 at Durham University III in Yorkshire & North East Women's League premier division.

Corinne Wray scored a late consolation as City of York Ladies II lost 3-1 at home to Kingston-upon-Hull I in division one Yorkshire.

City of York Ladies IV's home game against Aire Valley II was postponed because of a frozen pitch.
