FORMER York City defender Josh Law has taken up a coaching role at Harrogate Town.
Law - who made 59 appearances for the Minstermen between 2017 and 2019 - has been made head of youth coaching with the League Two Sulphurites.
Most recently, Law had been playing and coaching with Northern Premier League premier division outfit Basford United, whom he joined after leaving City at the end of the 2018/19 season. He headed up Basford’s academy side while he was with the Nottinghamshire club.
Mixed in with his credentials from the lower leagues and League One (garnered while at Oldham Athletic), Law brings Scottish Premiership experience, having played with Motherwell, for whom he scored twice on his debut in the Europa League.
Law will be hoping to make a similarly quick, if somewhat less explosive, impression at Harrogate.
He said: “I am so grateful and fortunate to be given this opportunity.
“I have been made to feel so welcome already - I can’t wait to see what can be achieved.”
