TICKETS are on sale for York City Knights’ mouth-watering 2022 Betfred Championship opener against Featherstone Rovers.
James Ford’s men are set to take on the Million Pound Game finalists and 1895 Cup holders under the lights at the LNER Community Stadium on Monday, January 31.
It will be fans’ first chance to see the new-look York side in competitive action following the acquisitions of high-profile players Pauli Pauli, Jamie Ellis, Masi Matongo and Jordan Thompson, as well as former fan-favourites Liam Harris and Will Oakes.
Featherstone, meanwhile, could give a run-out to two-time NRL Dally M Centre of the Year Joey Leilua, who has signed from Canberra Raiders.
Tickets cost £10 for adults, £5 for concessions (17 to 21 years old, and 65-plus) and are free for under-16s.
