YORK'S LNER Community Stadium will host eight matches at next year's Rugby League World Cup as originally planned.
The tournament was set to go ahead this autumn but has been postponed until 2022 amid coronavirus fears from Australia and New Zealand.
Under the revised schedule, York will still host eight women's matches including the two semi-finals, which will take place as a double header.
The fixtures to be held in York are as follows:
- Nov 2: New Zealand v France (5pm)
- Nov 2: Australia v Cook Islands (7.30pm)
- Nov 6: New Zealand v Cook Islands (5pm)
- Nov 6: Australia v France (7.30pm)
- Nov 10: France v Cook Islands (5pm)
- Nov 10: Australia v New Zealand (7.30pm)
- Nov 14: Semi-Final 1 (5pm)
- Nov 14: Semi-Final 2 (7.30pm)
