YORK City Ladies lead the way in the North East Regional Women's League premier division following a 6-1 hammering of Wallsend.
The Minsterbelles are unbeaten in the league so far this season, winning five and drawing one of their first six fixtures.
City have a six-point advantage at the summit and a goal difference of 18.
On Sunday, Holly Findlay scored a hat-trick against second-from-bottom Wall-send, with Sophie Tinson contributing a brace and Rebecca Fevers scoring a free kick.
