YORK City Knights prop Jack Teanby has been called to Scotland’s 20-player squad to face Jamaica on Sunday.
Teanby was among the 33 Bravehearts players named in the nation’s extended set-up for a training camp prior to the autumn international.
And the performances of the Knights forward have earned him a spot in the squad to take on the Reggae Warriors, with Teanby potentially in line for a first international cap.
“The sessions have been great in terms of getting people together after a couple of years away from the international arena,” said Scotland head coach Nathan Graham.
“It was tough to pick a squad of 20 but I am confident we have the personnel to perform well on Sunday.
“We have a lot of newcomers to the group and I’m looking forward to seeing what they can bring to the mix.”
Scotland squad: Danny Addy, James Bell, Ryan Brierley, Kieran Buchanan, Davey Dixon, Charlie Emslie, Dale Ferguson (C), Guy Graham, Ben Hellewell, Liam Hood, Ben Kavanagh, Sam Luckley, Joe McClean, Kieran Moran, Will Oakes, Rob Oakley, Jack Teanby, Oscar Thomas, Alex Walker, Lachlan Walmsley.
