YORK City Knights face two trips to Cumbria next season following after Barrow Raiders' promotion to the Betfred Championship was confirmed.
The Raiders joined near-neighbours Whitehaven in English rugby league's second tier after they hammered West Wales Raiders 76-0 on Saturday to secure the League One title.
York were out of action over the weekend, scheduled a trip to Toulouse Olympique but, like all other part-time sides in the Championship, were not required to travel to France amid the pandemic.
Elsewhere in the division, fourth-placed Bradford Bulls suffered a 10-9 defeat at Widnes Vikings while third-placed Halifax Panthers lost 19-6 at Whitehaven.
Featherstone Rovers won 48-28 at London Broncos, Batley lost 31-24 at home to Dewsbury and Newcastle won 38-24 at Oldham.
Basement side Swinton Lions were losing 16-10 at Sheffield at half-time in the late kick off.
Meanwhile, in the tier above, former Knights loanee Corey Johnson got some game time for parent club Leeds Rhinos against St Helens. His side were never in contention, though, as Super League titans Saints crushed them 40-6.
