YORK City Knights Ladies picked up their first victory of the Women's Super League play-offs after coming from behind to win 20-6 away at Wigan Warriors.
The Knights had lost their opening two matches of the play-offs after suffering defeats against table-toppers St Helens and reigning champions Leeds Rhinos.
But Lindsay Anfield's side ensured that they remained in the hunt for a semi-final finish with an impressive win at Robin Park.
Wigan took the lead midway through the first half when Rebecca Greenfield crossed down the left side, with Georgia Wilson adding the extras.
York hit back through captain Katie Langan's try from Rhiannion Marshall's pass before, on the stroke of half-time, Savannah Andrade scored a stunning solo try from around halfway.
Two Emma Hardy conversions put York 12-6 at the break.
Only seven minutes after the restart, Tamzin Renouf crossed on the right flank to increase their advantage and, on the hour, Bettie Lambert got her name on the scoresheet.
The Knights return to action against Castleford Tigers at the LNER Community Stadium on September 19 (12.15pm).
The match will serve as the curtain raiser to the men's final Betfred Championship fixture of the year against London Broncos (3pm).
