MALTON & Norton RUFC’s friendly match at home to York has been rearranged for Thursday evening (7.30pm).
The game will be Malt’s final warm-up game under the new coaching line-up led by former Bath centre Alex Crockett.
After an 18-month lay-off, the game will provide North One East outfit Malt with an ideal pre-season test as they welcome a York side that will feature in the division above, the North Premier, this coming season.
Malton, who will compete alongside the likes of Pocklington and Scarborough, start their season at Moortown on Saturday, September 4 (3pm).
York have another warm-up game scheduled on August 27, a trip to Doncaster Phoenix, before kicking off their league campaign at Otley on September 4 (3pm).
