THREE crews from York City Rowing Club (YCRC) have qualified for the Henley Royal Regatta, one of the world's most renowned rowing events.
The junior women's have qualified for the Jubilee Challenge Cup, an historic moment for the club, as it is the first women’s crew from YCRC to race at Henley.
Also, the junior boys qualified for the Fawley Challenge Cup and won their first round event at King's School in Worcester earlier this week.
And, a composite quad of York City, Leeds Rowing Club and University of York Boat Club rowers - two of which will represent the YCRC - will compete in the senior men's race in the Prince of Wales Challenge Cup.
