THE promotion race remains unchanged in Hunters ECB York & District Senior League division one west after the top four all won.

Leaders Easingwold were made to fight hard for their two-wicket win at home to Bolton Percy (223-6), which they completed with three overs left.

Edward Wright (36) and Zak Wilson (47) got the hosts' reply on track. Ninth-wicket pair Max Cosgrove (31 not out) and Andrew Metcalfe (22no) secured the win.

Knaresborough (117-1) eased to a nine-wicket victory at Thirsk (115) inside 18 overs.

Carlton Towers (166-4) beat hosts Thorp Arch & Boston Spa (163).

Sessay won by five wickets at Dringhouses (139). Daniel Snaith and Paul Milner both made 30 for the hosts while Jacob Stimpson-Rooke took 3-23.

Harrogate (103) won at Clifton Alliance despite having found themselves at 9-4, Joe Kilvington (4-47) collecting two wickets early on.

Corrie Keable (39) gave the hosts a fighting chance before being dismissed by Elliott Precious (3-29). When Oliver Sherwood (31) fell to Charlie Stokes (3-36), Alliance's innings fell apart and they were bowled out 12 runs short.

Openers Jack Wilson (64no) and Chris Klays (60no) secured a 10-wicket win for Heworth at Osbaldwick.

The pair took just 21.5 overs to chase down a target of 136, in which Alex Bell (3-42) and Guy Wilkinson (3-39) did much of the damage. Daniel Ellwood (65) and Joseph Privett (20) put on 98 for the ninth wicket.

Division one east's top two both suffered surprise defeats.

Leaders Bridlington went down by 57 runs at Pocklington, Ted Donkin (71) and Alex Downey (54) with top-order runs helping the hosts reach 249-9 before Connaire Brattan (3-38) and Henry Sumner (3-45) helped dismiss the visitors for 192 in reply.

Cottingham (296-4), meanwhile, lost by two wickets at Beverley Town (300-8).

Patrington (249-3) made up ground on the sides above them with a seven-wicket win at home to Hull Zingari (245).

An unbeaten century from Jarryd Basson (106no) helped Woodhouse Grange build an unassailable total at Driffield Town.

Basson put on 123 with Ted Baty (85) and a further 90 with Matthew Ainley (39) as the visitors scored 272-4.

Opener Jack Riley scored 65 for the home side before becoming one of Baty's 4-56. There were also four wickets for Ainley (4-61) as the hosts were bowled out for 210.

Londesborough Park’s (207-9) last-wicket pair survived to deny Scarborough (218-9) victory in an enthralling match at North Marine Road which ended with the sides separated by just 11 runs.

Sutton-on-Hull (105-4) beat fellow strugglers Hornsea (103) by six wickets.
