FORMER York City forward Harry Bunn has joined SkyBet League Two side Scunthorpe United on a one-year deal.
Bunn was one of 13 York players not to be offered a new deal by the club over the summer.
The 28-year-old, who was hampered by injury problems last term, was however invited back to train with the Minstermen in pre-season.
Bunn was then taken on trial by Scunthorpe and he has now earned himself a permanent deal with the Iron.
The move sees Bunn return to the Football League, where he has spent the majority of his career.
Bunn had loan spells at Rochdale, Preston North End, Oldham Athletic, Crewe Alexandra, Sheffield United and Huddersfield Town before permanently signing for the latter in 2014.
After stints at Bury, Southend United and Kilmarnock, the versatile attacker signed for York ahead of the 2020/21 season, which was later cancelled amid the pandemic.
