THERE were plenty of stand-out performances from York City Knights in their defeat 1895 Cup final defeat to Featherstone Rovers at Wembley Stadium.
Here is how we rated the players' performances.
Kieran Dixon: 4
Another difficult afternoon at Wembley for Dixon. His handling let him down in the first half, particularly against Dane Chisholm's kicking.
Ben Jones-Bishop: 7
The winger came up with a brilliant finish for York's first try and was made consistent half-breaks against the Fev line to put the Knights on the front foot.
Tyme Dow-Nikau: 5
Struggled to get into the game on his return. The centre was unable to ground Mikey Lewis' grubber early on when York looked on top.
Jason Bass: 6
Having been brushed aside by John Davies for Nu Brown's try, Bass redeemed himself by cleanly picking up Hall's error to race clear after half time.
Perry Whiteley: 7
The winger bagged himself a Wembley score at the death with a brilliant 90m intercept finish. Like Jones-Bishop, he carried consistently well from the back.
Danny Washbrook: 6
A calm head through the middle of the field. Less involved than he was against London but controlled proceedings.
Mikey Lewis: 8
By far York's best player. A great pound-for-pound tackler, created several chances and got a well-deserved solo try late on.
Ronan Dixon: 6
An industrious display from the prop who ran hard throughout and did some big minutes.
Will Jubb: 7
Jubb's strong charge teed up York's opening try. His passing was tidy, as always, too.
Jack Teanby: 7
Another whose powerful runs led to the Knights getting over twice in the first half.
Chris Clarkson: 6
A quiet display from the captain, who was caught offside for the eventual Hall penalty goal.
Danny Kirmond: 5
His discipline was a concern after giving away a six again and a penalty at key moments.
Tim Spears: 6
A determined showing from the veteran that featured show big hits and tough carries.
Sam Scott: 7
Featherstone struggled to handle the back-rower and his quick play-the-balls.
Adam Cuthbertson: 6
Started well but gave away a six-again on York's line before Fev's decisive scoring spree.
Kriss Brining: 7
His try got York back in the game, even though replays showed that he lost the ball.
Marcus Stock: 7
Fantastic footwork near the posts to score after coming off the bench.
