YORK City have sold out their 2,000 allocation for Sunday's pre-season friendly against Newcastle United.
Tickets remain available for Sunderland and Middlesbrough, as well as hospitality for all three games.
Meanwhile, around 1,200 fans made it to last Sunday's open day.
This fell short of the attendance touted as necessary to boost capped capacity beyond 2,000 for the opening day of the National League North season.
However, the club is still able to apply to the council and should find out the outcome by next month.
