LOCAL non-league sides have found out how the early stages of the FA Cup, Trophy and Vase are shaping up.

Northern Premier League east division sides Pickering Town and Tadcaster Albion both enter the Cup at the preliminary round and the Trophy at the second qualifying round.

Selby Town of Northern Counties East League division one are not in the Cup this year. The Robins go into the Vase at the first round qualifying stage.

The preliminary round of the Cup takes place on Saturday, August 21 and is worth £1,444 to the winner and £481 to the loser.

Pickering travel to Marske United while Taddy host either Newton Aycliffe or Thornaby.

Selby kick off their Vase campaign at home to Hemsworth Miners Welfare on Saturday, September 11 with £525 at stake for the winner, plus the reward of a Saturday, September 25 trip to either Winteron Rangers or Macclesfield in the second round qualifying.

On Saturday, October 9 is the Trophy second qualifying round, worth £1,875 to the winner and £625 to the loser.

The Pikes host Ramsbottom United and Taddy welcome Runcorn Linnets.
