YORK City Knights Ladies' fixture against Bradford Bulls Women this Sunday has been cancelled.
Bradford are unable to field a team for the match due to a number of injury and selection issues and, as a result, York have been awarded a 24-0 victory.
This is the second game in a row that the Knights have been given awarded a 24-0 win in the Betfred Women's Super League after the cancellation of the St Helens game.
The Knights were due to play in the second part of a double header at the LNER Community Stadium, after the men's side played Newcastle Thunder in the Beftred Championship.
"As a club, York City Knights understand a number of our fans will be disappointed at not being able to see our Ladies’ team in action on Sunday," said York in a club statement.
"We are, however, looking at planning double-headers in the near future."
York are next in action against Warrington Wolves on Sunday, July 11 (12pm).
