YORK City Knights Ladies were awarded a 24-0 victory over St Helens at the weekend after the Women's Challenge Cup winners were unable to field a team.
Saints were cleared to return to training this week after last Sunday’s scheduled fixture against Wigan Warriors was postponed under Covid-19 protocols.
Although they did not meet the threshold of seven players being directly ruled out by coronavirus, St Helens were still unable to name a team and had to forfeit the match.
