YORK City Knights have revealed how their members and season ticket holders can secure their tickets ahead of the return of supporters next week.

York's first home game at the LNER Community Stadium with fans allowed back will be against Oldham on Sunday, May 23.

A spokesperson from GLL, which runs the stadium, has confirmed that the capacity will be limited to 1,000, with 2,000 fans allowed in after the Oldham match and that number gradually increasing as restrictions are lifted.

The club have revealed that all of their existing members and season ticket holders have been given priority access for the eagerly-awaited occasion.

Season ticket holders will require a ticket for the game and can collect them in three ways.

The first allows a collection of the ticket and a tour of the stadium ahead of the first match to be play in front of a crowd at the Monks Cross ground.

A range of dates and times are available from Saturday, May 15 to Wednesday, May 19, though capacities are strictly limited.

The second method is to visit the club shop prior to the game. The shop is open on Saturday and Sunday (10am-1pm), Monday, May 17 (10am-7pm) and from Tuesday, May 18 to Friday, May 21 (10am-4pm).

Parking permits at the Monks Cross Park & Ride Car Park are also available from the club shop for £5. Those have have purchased a season parking pass can also collect this from the club shop.

Alternatively, York will email a downloadable ticket to season ticket holders. The club ask that if this is your preference, that season ticket holders email z.ingledew@yorkcityknights.com by Wednesday.

These tickets will be for the Oldham fixture only and not season ticket cards. The latter will be issues once restrictions are lifted.

Fans will be given an allocated seat which may be different to the one they booked, as a result of Covid-19 and social distancing restrictions.

Season ticket holders will be given a time of arrival to allow a safe entrance for all and in good time ahead of kick-off.

The Vice Presidents, Platinum and Corporate members will be contacted directly by the club by Tuesday and no other corporate tickets are available to buy.

Any additional tickets will be allocated via a ballot, the details of which have not yet been revealed.

The club say that they have obtained "external, further local and regional advisory group confirmation" to permit fans to be in attendance but that these measures may be "subject to change."
