WIGGINTON Grasshoppers will face Thorpe United Red in the final of the Fastpack Ltd York Sunday Morning Senior Challenge Trophy following their 7-1 defeat of Hambleton in the semi-finals.
James Edmond headed home Kain Rogerson's free-kick to give Wigginton the lead after 25 minutes, shortly before Cameron Mulhearn drove home from range to make it 2-0.
Matthew Mulhearn then matched his brother's effort, firing in off the underside of the bar from 20 yards before Hambleton pulled a goal back.
A fourth Wigginton goal, again from distance, from Jon-Paul Vass settled the match shortly after the break.
Liam Robertson headed home the hosts' fifth before substitute Harry Clapham fired a late brace to put the icing on the cake.
The final will be played on Sunday, May 16 at Wigginton as current restrictions have limited the use of neutral venues.
Spectators are welcome but must adhere to social-distancing regulations. The club's refreshments facilities will be open. The league committee have reminded spectators that no alcohol is permitted at pitch side.
