YORK City Knights have been drawn against Swinton Lions in the semi-finals of the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup.

The tie is to be played at the LNER Community Stadium over the weekend of June 5.

A place in the final is up for grabs, with the winner to face either Featherstone Rovers or Widnes at Wembley directly before the Betfred Challenge Cup final.

The draw is a reverse of the weekend’s Betfred Championship fixture, when Matty Marsh, pictured (Craig Hawkhead), ran in four tries as York demolished Swinton 64-16 in Greater Manchester.

Meanwhile, the Knights' Ladies have been drawn at home to Wigan Warriors in the Women's Challenge Cup quarter-finals.

That draw is a parallel to the tie James Ford's men's side played out in early April, when Wigan visited York in the last 16.

The ladies' side started their Super League campaign with a defeat at reigning champions Leeds Rhinos but got a first win under their belts on Sunday when they fought back to defeat Wakefield Trinity 16-10 in the Challenge Cup first round.
