YORK City Knights' Betfred Challenge Cup clash with Wigan Warriors will be broadcast live and for free by The Sportsman on Friday, April 9.

The third-round tie at the LNER Community Stadium will kick off at 7.45pm.

This is the second time the Knights have been selected for broadcast by The Sportsman, who also showed York's first-round win at Sheffield Eagles.

York's meeting with the Super League giants will be shown on The Sportsman's website, YouTube channel and Facebook page.

On Saturday, BBC One will air St Helens against Leeds Rhinos (2.30pm) and BBC Two will show Catalans Dragons against Wakefield Trinity.

The remaining five fixtures will be pay-to-watch on Our League, the Rugby Football League's streaming service.

Early bird tickets are available from now until the matchday.
