IN the latest edition of our look back through the archives, here are five bowling teams from the past.
Pictured above, September 1981, some of the competitors who had taken part in Malton Bowling Club's Invitation Triples competition sponsored by Weatherseal Double Glazing.
Thirty-two teams from clubs in the Ryedale area competed in the two-day knock-out event. The event was won by the Swinton trio of R Kapp, who beat the Terrington triple of R Armitage.
