YORK City are set to begin their 2021/22 National League North campaign on August 14.
The National League announced the start dates for Steps 1 and 2 on Monday morning, with the top tier of the competition starting a week later, on August 21.
Fixture dates will be released later.
By the time City kick off, it will mark almost six months since they last played a league game. A 3-1 home defeat to AFC Fylde on February 16 was followed just two days later by the declaration of a null and void 2020/21 season.
First-team players and staff were placed on furlough last week after the Alliance Committee put the kibosh on proposals for a supplementary Step 2 competition.
It is not yet known what shape the squad will take for next term. City have told The Press the club does not discuss player contract details with media.
