TEAM changes are on the cards for York City on Saturday when they host Spennymoor Town in front of supporters for the first time this season.

Tickets were sold during the week for City's pilot event ahead of the anticipated full limited-capacity Tier 2 fan return, with the club reporting that all 400 available tickets were sold.

And spectators will see a side different from the one they witnessed last time they were allowed into Bootham Crescent, though Jake Cassidy will not be in the squad for the first time in the National League North this season. The striker is suspended after collecting two yellows in the win over Chester last weekend.

Scott Barrow is also a potential doubt. He came off before half-time on Tuesday night following a tackle by Connor Kennedy.

Olly Dyson came off early as well and was left out of training as a precaution, but had a chance of joining back in yesterday.

Watson said: "We're still going to be without (Michael) Duckworth and (Josh) King, and we can't play Cassidy. But that brings others into the equation, people who have done really well like Reon Potts.

"Hopefully it's a step in the right direction for Jack Redshaw.

"Olly's injury is what it is, it's a dead leg and very painful. It was getting worse as the game went on.

"It's just a matter of time with that. He wanted to train (on Thursday) - that's the type of lad he is - but we decided to take him out of the equation because all it would have taken is somebody clattering into him to set him back another two or three days.

"Scotty is a little bit more touch and go. It was a bad knock and a terrible tackle, one that the player couldn't have won the ball from. It's a tackle you don't want to see and potentially might be losing a player for a game because of it."
