YORK City Knights have confirmed that they will apply for the vacant 12th spot in next year's Super League competition.
Fellow Championship clubs Featherstone Rovers and Toulouse Olympique have also expressed their intention to apply.
The slot opened up with Super League clubs voting against the readmission of Toronto Wolfpack, who resigned from the 2020 competition.
