YORK City Ladies have continued their unbeaten start to the North East Regional Women's Football League premier division season with a 1-1 draw against Ossett United.
The Minsterbelles sit second in table, level on eight points with leaders Hartlepool United, who drew 1-1 at Alnwick Town.
After winning the North Riding County FA Ladies Cup in late August, City have enjoyed league wins over Redcar Town (5-1) and Sheffield Wednesday (4-2) before drawing 2-2 at Hartlepool.
In their most recent outing, Ossett were a goal in front for more than an hour after Jordane Allison opened the scoring in the fifth minute.
But a handball in the penalty area gave York a chance at equalising in the 67th minute - and Sophie Tinson, pictured (Ian Parker), did just that, sending the keeper the wrong way with her calm spot kick.
Tinson had a chance for a late winner after combining with Faye Singleton on the counter-attack but she could not find the net.
York's next scheduled fixture is a trip to South Shields on November 8.
