CORONAVIRUS precautions "on both sides" have forced the postponement of Selby Town's game tomorrow night.

The Robins were due to travel to Nostell Miners Welfare on Wednesday for a 7.45pm kick off in Northern Counties East League division one.

Town confirmed in a statement on their website: "Due to Covid precautions on both sides, tomorrow’s game against Nostell Miners Welfare is off."

This is the third consecutive game Selby have had postponed, with fixtures against Hall Road Rangers (October 20) and East Hull (October 24) also falling because of coronavirus-related reasons.

Selby have dropped back to the foot of the table in that time.
