THE Beagle made it four wins out of four in York Minster Engineering League division two.

A hat-trick from Leigh Dutton and a James Smith brace earned a 5-1 home win over Wheldrake.

Cawood remain two points off the top after a 6-2 triumph at Pollington. Casey Heath (2), Paul Winterburn, Jamie Drury, Ryan Glover and Kyle Wilks scored.

Third-placed Clifford beat Rufforth United 4-2. Wombleton Wanderers saw off fourth-placed Bubwith White Swan 7-1.

Danny Mairs, Rob Carter and Alex Sutherland put Heslington into a 15th-minute three-goal lead in their 3-3 draw with Civil Service, whose Luke Addison (2) and Tommy Medd scored.

In division three, Duncombe Park closed the gap at the top to two points, defeating Wilberfoss 2-0. Rob McDermid scored both goals.

Copmanthorpe went fourth with a 5-2 victory over Crayke United. Robin Bedford (3), Reece Maynard and Steven Ellis scored, with Mark Cobb and Karl Slater replying.

Ben Singleton, Jack Spofforth, Danny Laverick and Kieran Constanzo scored for sixth-placed Fulford in their 4-1 home win over York St John University, whose Tom Brand got the consolation.

Mark Jackson (2), Daniel Marston (2) and an own goal saw Helperby to a 5-2 win over Church Fenton. Stephen James and Aiden Rucklidge replied.

Daniel Middleton (3), Mohammed Hoque (2), Callum Richardson, Dan Morgan and Lee Jones scored as division four leaders South Milford went three points clear with an 8-0 win over LNER Builders.

Marton Abbey beat Kellingly Welfare 3-2 with goals from Jack Hulse, Oliver Hall and Adam Galloway. James Mitchell and Elliott Rhodes replied.

Josh Farrow and Thomas Walsh scored in York RI’s 2-2 draw with Sporting Knavesmire, whose Jamie Rutherford and Sam Bibby netted.

Robbie Tomlinson (2) and Dominic Ashworth scored in Howden’s 3-1 win at Bishop Wilton. Liam Mortimer got the consolation.

Michael Cobb (3), David James and Ben Laycock struck in Thirsk Falcons’ 7-5 defeat at Elvington Harriers.
