YORK City keeper Ryan Whitley has gone on loan to Scarborough Athletic until January 2 of next year.
The 20-year-old was primarily deployed in cup matches last season, notably helping York through the North Riding County FA Senior Cup penalty shoot-out at Whitby Town.
He was loaned out to then Northern Premier League leaders South Shields for a month and returns to the NPL premier division for his coming stint with the Seadogs.
Coming in to fill the back-up slot to Pete Jameson is 18-year-old Harry Flatters, who has signed until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Flatters arrives from Middlesbrough Under-18s, for whom he started 20 U18 Premier League games, keeping one of two clean sheets in the season-ending 3-0 win over Liverpool.
Both deals are subject to FA and National League approval.
