BRIGHOUSE Town Women have been busy making signings over the last week, but there is also one major departure from the camp.
Amy Woodruff has joined after leaving Barnsley, Ellie White has made the short hop over from Huddersfield Town, while Ellie Dobson has come in from Middlesbrough.
And these new signings will be welcome, after a club legend confirmed she was leaving.
Charlotte Proud has been one of the Brighouse's most vital players over the last few years, and has terrorised defences everywhere, netting an impressive 77 goals in 110 games.
She has had to relocate, meaning turning out for her beloved Brighouse was no longer possible.
She posted a heartfelt message on Twitter to thank the club for everything they had done for her.
Due to unforeseen circumstances I have to announce with a heavy heart my departure from @btafcwomen. I’d like to thank all involved at the club, especially @GBM33 and @BeckyAlderson3 for your hard work. It’s been a pleasure and I’ll miss you all. #feedthemtothelions 🍊
