TADCASTER Albion have tied down 12 members of their squad for next season.

The BetVictor Northern Premier League north/west division club had their previous season expunged amid the coronavirus pandemic back in March.

Manager Paul Quinn and his staff have constantly been looking ahead to the new campaign in the meantime and have now revealed which players are on their retention list.

The 12 players to have signed on for the 2020/21 season are: goalkeeper Michael Ingham, defenders Andy Milne, Ioan Evans, Dan Hartley, Mitchell Pattinson and Adam Porritt, defensive midfielder Jack Vann and midfielders Rinor Ejupi, Lebrun Mbeka and Jake Rose, winger Kian Rogerso and attacking midfielder Kevin Dos Santos.

Former Northern Ireland international keeper Ingham will enter his fifth season with Tadcaster following his departure from York City, where he was part of the side which won the promotion to the Football League and the FA Trophy in 2011/12.

Another long-serving member of the squad is Milne, with next term being his sixth with Albion.

An ex-captain of the Leeds United Under-18s, Milne also won international caps with Scotland at the U18s and U19s level.

Formerly of Darlington, Altrincham, Barrow, FC Halifax Town Ossett Town and Scarborough Athletic, Milne is previous winner of the club’s Players’ and Supporters’ Player of the Year awards.

Central defender Evans is another with former international experience at youth level, having played for Wales at U16s and U19s.

Formerly of Sheffield United, Evans joined Tadcaster from Gainsborough Trinity.

19-year-old Hartley will also remain at Taddy have come to the club from Harrogate Town as will young defender Pattinson.

Defender Porritt will enter his second term with the club after moving up the tier following his October move from Garforth Town.

Like Milne, midfielder Vann began his career in the Leeds United academy and represented England at U16s.

Vann joined Tadcaster from Ossett United in November last year having previously played under current boss Quinn at Ossett United.

Also formerly of Ossett is Mbeka, who will go into his second season at Ings Lane.

Midfielder Rinor will enter his first full season with the Brewers having joined from community club Horsforth St Margaret’s back in January.

Tough-tackling midfield enforcer Rose will stay at the club for a fifth season, hoping to put together an injury-free season, with knocks having blighted his time so far at Albion.

Winger Rogerson - who progressed through i2i Football Academy - also remains at the club, taking him into his fourth term with the Brewers.

Born in Portugal, Dos Santos featured for native clubs Setubal Vitoria and Vila Franquense before joining Taddy in late August.

Elsewhere, striker Jake Day confirmed his departure from Tadcaster on social media last week.

On Twitter, Day wrote: “I’ve absolutely loved my time at Tadcaster Albion, but the time has come to move on.

“I appreciate all the support the club and the fans gave me and I wish you all the best for the future.”
