TICKET prices at Worcester Warriors have been cut as the club makes plans to welcome back fans after the coronavirus crisis.

The club has cut the price of season tickets for 2020/21 with prices in all areas of Sixways reduced by 10 per cent, meaning prices are the cheapest they have been since the 2013/14 season.

Supporters who buy a 2020/21 season ticket will secure the same price for the 2021/22 season as part of the Loyal Warrior pricing policy.

A new half season ticket ranging from £22.50 for under 12s to £312 for a platinum half season ticket has been introduced for supporters which covers eight home matches and provides greater flexibility for those who might not be able to afford a full – 16 match – season ticket, which ranges from £50 to £695 depending on which level of ticket.

Season Ticket Holders have until July 15 to secure their seat for the season – a later deadline than normal – and can also spread the cost of their Season Ticket by using the club’s direct debit payment scheme.

Managing director Peter Kelly said: "The Coronavirus lockdown is posing challenges for everyone – businesses, families and individuals – and led to the suspension of all professional sport in the UK.

"We can’t wait to open the doors of Sixways again for rugby and other events and to return to normality.

"We greatly value the loyal support of our Season Ticket Holders and appreciate the messages of support we have received during the past two months.

"We feel it would be unreasonable in these uncertain times to ask Season Ticket Holders to pay more to watch Warriors so we have introduced a pricing policy which makes it cheaper, simpler and – we hope – more attractive for them to support the club.

"With the talented squad and coaching team that Alan Solomons has assembled, we believe that 2020/21 will be an exciting and successful season at Sixways.

“We also invested heavily in our facilities with three new big screens and digital ribbons, high-speed WiFi, new floodlights, improved PA system and the popular EBC Fanzone which have made the Sixways match day experience one of the best in the Premiership."

Warriors fans can buy their tickets by phone on 01905 459309, by email on seasontickets@warriors.co.uk and online at warriors.co.uk/tickets.
