YORKSHIRE CCC have taken the decision to furlough a large proportion of their staff due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Emerald Headingley has been closed in accordance with the government’s ongoing advice during the nationwide lockdown.
The club will continue to operate with a skeleton staff during this lockdown period.
Mark Arthur, Yorkshire’s Chief Executive said: “At this unprecedented time, we have taken this positive step to protect jobs at the club.
“By taking advantage of the government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, we are able to preserve jobs at Yorkshire Cricket during such a difficult financial period.”
The club’s ticket office and club shop (including online sales) will not be in operation until further notice. Hospitality sales and queries will not be processed before this date.
