DANIEL PARSLOW'S benefit year dinner later this month will not go ahead as planned.
The former York City defender confirmed on Twitter he would be postponing the event in accordance with the government's coronavirus guidelines.
Originally scheduled for March 26, the meal was planned to take place at York Racecourse.
Parslow tweeted: "Following government guidelines on the recent coronavirus outbreak, it is with regret that my upcoming tribute dinner has been postponed on March 26 at York Racecourse.
"Sorry to bring you this news - everybody's health and safety must come first."
