YORK City Knights have confirmed their Coral Challenge Cup round five tie against Rochdale Hornets will take place on Sunday, March 15 (3pm) at Bootham Crescent.

Tickets cost £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and under-16s go free.

York last faced Rochdale in the Challenge Cup in March 2017 when, as lower-tier opponents, they ran out 26-20 winners at the start of Jon Flatman era.

The Knights are expecting a tough game against the rejuvenated Hornets, who have been taken over by well-respected chairman Andy Mazey. Along with coach Matt Calland, they have started to assemble a promising squad featuring on-loan Leigh Centurions half-back Martin Ridyard following last season's relegation from the Championship.

The Hornets have already faced Minster city opposition in this season's Cup, overcoming York Acorn 54-10 in round three.

York beat former Super League side London Broncos in the last round thanks to a thrilling last-minute try from Jimmy Keinhorst, pictured, in the capital.
